I promise this one is easy! Over the course of your training, you have the option of performing our short and easy Website Scavenger Hunt. This will help you get acquainted with the new aspects of the website beyond the catalogue abilities.
Assignment- Answer the following and email the answers to the trainer:
1. Find the page that features our BPL Blogs. What is the URL of the page?
2. What is happening at Central Library on Tuesday, May 17th at 7:00 pm?
3. Find the page featuring the popular program Kids Summer Reading Club. What is the URL of the page?
4. What program is advertised on the right side of the Visiting Library Services page?
5. On the Job Search page, what is the name of the first link on the Job Prep tab?
Remember, questions can be emailed to the trainer (training@bpl.on.ca), or posted as a comment on this blog post.
Staffers who complete all the training and the scavenger hunt, and email all responses to the trainer by May 31st at 5pm, will be entered into a draw to win an Apple IPAD!! Draw to happen June 3rd, 2011, so be sure to get everything in!!
